53-year-old ex-convict arrested for stealing cloth


A 53-year-old ex-convict, Peter Raymond, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing fabric at a shop in a plaza on Martins Street, Lagos Island.

It was learnt that the suspect, who had just completed four years’ jail term in Cotonou, Benin Republic, had accompanied an in-law who wanted to buy some cloth at the shop.
