The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Audu Ogbeh, on Thursday, raised the alarm that Nigerians who are eating moinmoin cooked in cellophane bags risk serious health challenge as the product is poisonous.
53-year-old ex-convict arrested for stealing cloth
A 53-year-old ex-convict, Peter Raymond, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing fabric at a shop in a plaza on Martins Street, Lagos Island.
It was learnt that the suspect, who had just completed four years’ jail term in Cotonou, Benin Republic, had accompanied an in-law who wanted to buy some cloth at the shop.
