Ekiti court jails herdsman two years for destroying crops

A Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ado Ekiti has sentenced one Ali Haruna, 18, to two years imprisonment for taking his cows for grazing in a farmland in Ado Ekiti and destroying crops.

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a man impersonating officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on Special Offences in robbing motorcycle riders popularly known as Okada, in Agege and its environs.
