Sexagenarian turns 10-year-old to sex slave in Abia


A 61-year-old man, Timothy Onyeukwu, has been arrested by the Abia State Police Command for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl and keeping her as a sex slave in a hotel in Aba.

Onyeukwu was alleged to have tricked the victim into the hotel with ice cream and N200 and held her hostage for months.

Katsina court sentences district head’s son to death by hanging


A Katsina State High Court sitting in Funtua on Thursday sentenced Mu’ammar Tukur, son of former District Head of Bakori, to death by hanging for culpable homicide.

Tukur, 32, whose late father represented Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency at Federal House of Representatives, was convicted for using knife to stabbed Shafir Muktar to death.
