Enugu police arrest two teenagers over indomie

Two teenagers have been arrested by police detectives in Enugu for allegedly stealing packets of indomie noodles and other household items.

The suspects, whose names were given as Feanyi Odoabuchi, 19 and Amobi Alor, 18, were said to be notorious criminals, who specialised in breaking of provision stores within Okwojo Ngwo and its environs.

Odoabuchi is from Eha-Amufu in Isiuzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, but lives at same Okwojo as a mason while Alor is from Ukaka Ngwo in Udi Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the story, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu, said the duo were nabbed on January 8, this year when they broke into the provision shop through a ceiling and stole packets of indomie noodles, television set (Sharp), a DVD, soaps, bottles of wine, sardine, milk amongst other items.

Amarizu told Maka Ndigbo that security operatives from the 9th-Mile Police Division working in partnership with members of the public closed up on them (suspects) and recovered all they had stolen.

The police image maker said that the suspects admitted the act and revealed that it was an act of satan that led them into the unlawful act.

“They are now begging for forgiveness just as they are helping the operatives in their investigations”, he added.
