A security officer with Skye Bank Plc, Solomon Udoh, was arraigned on Wednesday before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State for stealing.

Udoh is standing trial before Magistrate O. A. Olagbende for allegedly stealing a customer’s N371,000.

The prosecutor, Friday Mameh, told the court that Udoh and others at large, committed the offences on August 2 inside a banking hall at Lekki Phase 1.

He said a customer, Musa Dayyabu, forgot a black polythene bag containing his cell phone, diary and N371, 000 on a chair in the bank.

Mameh said Udoh found the bag and failed to inform his supervisor about it. He said it was the Closed-Circuit Television camera that captured the defendant.

Udoh denied the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N150, 000.
