A five-man gang of child rapists have been convicted and sentenced accordingly.
The gang are known to source their victims from the social media, where they groom them before arranging to meet them in real world.
Three of them, namely, Waqaar Khan, 24; Kadeem Bourne, 23; and Kenan Kelly,18; were found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting six teenage girls they groomed on social media.
Described as child sex exploitation gang, the group of men were based in Coventry, United Kingdom.
One of the relations of the victims said their antisocial activities has had a “terrible impact on the (victims’) family.”
A fourth man, Marcus Woolcock, 22, was convicted of human trafficking and sexual assault; while the fifth, Zahid Chaudhary, 20, was convicted of human trafficking.
They were tried and convicted at the Warwick Crown Court.
The uncle of one of the girls described the perpetrators as “rats” and said “they treated them (victims) like pieces of meat.”
