A woman identified simply as Iya Bola has been killed in Gbagada.
Her lifeless body was found on Adewale Kuku Street, Millennium Estate, with matchet injuries on her head, neck and hand.
It was gathered that the woman usually hawked Engine oil and lived in an abandoned truck near the estate.
According to a source, policemen from Anthony Station went to a nearby bush, where her body was found after a guard, Alfa Ali and one Patrick Modupe reported to the station.
He said: “The two men came to the station and reported that the woman was found in a pool of her blood with injuries on her body. They came around 12pm on Monday and policemen went there to retrieve the corpse.”
