Husband, wife, four children killed in night attack - Shepherd Digest Magazine


Suspected assassins have killed a family of six – husband, wife and four children, in a pre – dawn attack on them in their home at the Atiba area of Odogbolu, Ogun State.

It is not yet clear what informed the murder the man identified as Sheik Yusuf Abdulsalam Tanimola in his 30s, his wife and four children.

The Nation gathered two of the children are two years old twins.

Residents of Atiba and sympathizers who thronged their residence family were shocked to see the remains of the victims, a source told The Nation.


The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, told The Nation that he is yet to get details of the victims’ name but added that they “were killed over night.”

Abimbola said the Divisional Police Officers in Odogbolu and bordering towns have been mobilised to the victims’ residence along with the Operatives of the Federal Special Anti – Robbery Squad (FSARS) and the Homicide section to unravel the motive behind the brutal murder.

According to him, the Police are also “profiling the identity of the killer(s)” to enable them make arrest.

He expressed the confidence that the Police would get the killer(s).
