A mother broke down in tears when she couldn’t recognise her son after he had plastic surgery.

Noppajit Monlin, 22, was suffering from a twisted jaw that left him unable to chew properly and he was shunned by co-workers on lunch breaks.

The facial deformity let him unhappy with his looks and he had low self-esteem.

But the factory worker now looks astonishingly different after undergoing the drastic transformation on show TV show Let Me In Thailand.

Noppajit underwent jaw, forehead, and eyelid surgery as well as having salivary gland botox injections to fix his excessive drooling and treatments to get rid of his spots.

The show sees people go under the knife to change their looks before their new face is unveiled to family members.

But Noppajit’s mother said she missed her boy’s natural face.

She broke down in tears as she failed to recognise her own son.

She said: “I really miss him, and I’m not acting.”

He asked her: “Mum, do you remember me? Look at me.”

She replied: “Is it you? Is it really you?”

Noppajit said: “People say I’m a different person. I feel much better.”
