3 witches kidnapped a 60-year-old woman walked with her the whole night before they made her dumb and abandoned her.
This happened on Thursday in Miranga village, Kisii County.
According to the family members, the woman, Rose Moraa, was kidnapped from her house on Thursday at 10 pm.
“Moraa was living Mogumo market when she was kidnapped near the gate. We searched for her the whole night but in vain. On Friday morning, we found her abandoned in a swampy area, 100 meters from her home and she had become dumb,” said Jackson Manoti.
Local pastor Lawrence Makung’a prayed for 3 hours before Moraa spoke.
“Moraa spoke after the man of God prayed for 3 hours nonstop. Witchcraft is real in the village,” he said.
Amos Momanyi area Nyumba Kumi official confirmed the incident and said a public Baraza will take place in the village on Saturday where the woman will name the witches.
“Upon questioning Moraa revealed that she was kidnapped by witches who are people well-known to her. They walked with her the whole night, fed her human meat before they abandoned her in the wee hours of Friday morning. She will name the witches during a public Baraza to be held on Saturday,” he said.
