A 40-year-old man was left homeless after angry residents set on fire his house for sleeping with minor in Boisanga on Thursday.
Residents claimed that the suspect, Juma Nyamwaro, lured a class 6 girl with Sh50 for sex.
“Nyamwaro seduced the minor and gave her Sh50, lured her into his house where he had sex with her on Wednesday night,” Bartholomew Okundi.
Okundi said parents to the girl, searched for her in vain after leaving school before the bizarre incident.
"On Thursday morning the minor returned home where she was questioned by her parents and she revealed to them that Nyamwaro lured her into his house where they spend the night,” he noted.
Area assistant chief Job Oenga said the angry residents stormed the man’s house, set his house on fire after he escaped into a neighboring maize plantation.
He said men targeting to sleep with minors should stop before the law catches up with them.
