A local pastor has gone into hiding after he was caught with a choir member on Wednesday evening at Nyanchwa estate in Kisii County.
Titus Bundi said Fred Ombese summoned the woman, Gladys Obwocha, to his house where he lured her into sex.
Elizabeth Ondoro said he went to check Gladys in her house when she was told that the pastor had summoned her.
"Gladys asked me to pay her a visit. I went to her house when her son told me the pastor who lives few meters away summoned her to his house. I decided to go there it was then that I was shocked to find the pastor and Gladys in bed having sex,” she said.
Mrs Ondoro said she raised an alarm to attract neighbors.
Bernard Onderi, a neighbor said this was not the first time the pastor was busted with someone’s wife.
“Ombese is hiding in the church to spoil people’s marriages. This is not the first time he has been sleeping with people’s wives. He uses kamuti to lure women to have sex with him,” Bundi said.
Area Chief, Joshua Mayaka, said the pastor has until Friday to vacate the area.
Mayaka urged men to respect married women and go for single women instead.
