Mourners, who had gathered for a wake were left in shock when the former wife of the deceased threw his coffin out of the house they had shared.
According to iHarare, the deceased Dominic Makoreke’s body spent the night outside in the rain as his ex-wife, identified as Betty refused to accommodate mourners in her hut.
It was gathered that Makoreke divorced Betty sometime ago to marry another wife and remained in the hut he resided with his first wife.
One of the mourners said that they were forced to make a temporary shelter to cover the coffin since it was raining.
“We were forced to find ways to protect the coffin since it was raining and all mourners were humiliated as we looked helpless outside the hut,” added the mourner.
