The police in Umunede, Delta State, are currently looking for a 31-year-old commercial sex worker who allegedly disappeared with her customer’s brief case and driving licence.
Reports said the prostitute, identified as Ebere, operated in one of the brothels in Umunede, where the customer (names withheld) frequents, especially at weekends to have fun.
But senior police officers at the station, who did not want their names published, said the customer, a highly placed businessman, bargained for an all night sex (called till day break) with the prostitute.
The police officers added that he reportedly had the first bout of sex and asked for a drink before the prostitute allegedly induced him to sleep.
It was gathered that the prostitute allegedly took off when she noticed her customer was fast asleep after paying her in hard currency from the brief case.
Eyewitness, Gloria, said the customer had on Monday evening lodged in with the girl while carrying a big brief case only to have woken up the following morning screaming for help after the girl had disappeared into the thin air.
Police sources said bar manager of the brothel, Nnamdi Frank, was helping the police for further investigation after several calls to her GSM lines were not answered.
One of the police officers who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “We are investigating a report of a stolen briefcase containing huge sums of money and a driving licence and we hope to bring the girl to book”
