A Kenyan court has remanded a 15-year-old girl for allegedly aborting a six-month-old pregnancy.
Senior Resident Magistrate, Judicaster Nthuku, also ordered the arrest of the man responsible for the pregnancy of the minor, reports CitizenTV Kenya.
The JSS1 pupil is accused of aborting her pregnancy at her Molo Sirwe home in Mogotio Sub County, Baringo.
She was arrested and a medical examination conducted at Mogotio Sub County Hospital.
The foetus was taken to Eldama Ravine Sub County Hospital, with the Senior Magistrate ordering that it remain for further DNA tests.
The probation report is expected to be ready on Thursday.
