An angry man on Monday beat his daughter’s sponsor after he busted him with the daughter in a lodging.
The incident occured at Asumbi shopping center in Homa Bay County.
Confirming the incident, area Chief Brian Nyakwama, said the girl's father, Abel Odour, has been suspecting the aged man, Francis Onduso, for having an illicit love affair with his daughter who is a P1 student at Asumbi TTC.
“Odour laid a trap on the two lover birds and found them in a lodging enjoying themselves before he attacked Onduso with his walking stick for luring his daughter,” said the chief.
The chief said the lady, Vivian, fled from the scene.
He further noted that the suspect sustained injuries on his forehead following the attack and he was rushed to a local dispensary for treatment.
Nyakwama said he will not continue paying school fees for his daughter who has prioritized sex than education.
“I have sold family property to pay her school fees, but I will not continue paying her school fees. She disappeared and let her look for old men to pay her school fees,” he noted.
