A 26-year-old man on Monday shocked residents of Kenyambi village in Nyamira County after he was busted having sex with chicken.
It is alleged that the unmarried man, Elvis Riogi, caught his neighbor’s chicken before he went on to have sex and would be caught red handed by his mother, Marisela Nyaboke.
“I returned home from church when I found my son at our kitchen having sex with our neighbor’s chicken.
"I screamed and neighbors arrived and found my son naked holding the chicken on his hands,” said Nyaboke.
Angry neighbors descended on the man with kicks and blows accusing him of doing unnatural acts with livestock.
Cleophas Mogaka, a neighbor said upon questioning Riogi, he revealed that he has been smoking bhang which led him to have sex with the chicken.
“Riogi told us that he has been smoking bhang for over 1 year which led him to do the unnatural act with the chicken after we beat him up mercilessly,” said Mogaka.
Area local administrator Joel Maangu said the suspect, who dropped school early this year at form 2 was ordered to buy 5 chickens for his neighbor.
The administrator called on parents to ensure their children don’t drop school to venture into drug abuse and commit crime.
