Man caught pants down with niece in quarry - Shepherd Digest Magazine

There was drama on Friday after a 27-year-old man was caught pants down with his 19-year-old niece at a local quarry.

The incident occurred at Itiero village in Bomorenda, Kisii County.

A witness, James Mogesa, said he saw Vincent Gekondo entering the quarry with Florence Nyaboke at 6pm.

“I was returning home from Suneka when I saw Gekondo and Nyaboke entering the quarry. Nyaboke abandoned a water jerrican which she was going to fetch water with. I approached the quarry where they entered and I was shocked to see them naked having sex,” said Mogesa.

Mogesa said he called bodaboda riders who had parked their motorbikes a few meters away to come and witness what the two were doing.

A rider, Johannes Osore, said they arrested the two lovebirds, gave them a beating before they surrendered them to the local chief, Charles Atang’a.

The chief said Gekondo and Nyaboke have on several occasions been warned against engaging in the illicit affair.

“They were caught in the act and were beaten up before they were surrendered to me. I have warned them more than five times to stop having illicit sex because they are relatives but it seems they are not listening. Gekondo is an orphan and is unable to get a woman to marry and can't stop chasing after his niece,” said Atang'a.

He urged residents in the area to keep an eye on the two to ensure they don’t engage in illicit sex.
