As Nigeria marks its 55 Independence Anniversary, all is set for the 2015 edition of Miss Green and White Pageant, a beauty contest for promoting peace and unity of the country which holds tomorrow in Lagos.
The pageant, according to its organisers is designed to stimulate awareness against violence and apathy towards the oneness of Nigeria,particularly, among youth. It is also to celebrate young Nigerian women; presenting them as unique blend of beauty, elegance, intelligence and excellence.
Already, the contestants are in camp, preparatory for the grand finale, holding tomorrow, Sunday, at Airport Hotels, Ikeja Lagos.
Former beauty queen and the event promoter Juliet Geoffrey, said the grand finale of Miss Green and White will bring out the best in Nigeria’s culture and will be a night to remember.
