Adedayo Osho reports via Facebook about a kind hearted Nigerian Police officer. His name is Billy Joseph Oriade and he is reported to have paid the medical bill of a 10 year old hawker hit by motorcycle.
In the society where police brutality and lawlessness are often experienced and reported, it is worthy to celebrate this policeman’s act of kindness, even though acts such as this isn’t out of place. Kudos to officer Billi Joseph Oriade. God bless him.
In other news though, parents and guardians should stop abusing children, why should a 10 year old who ought to be in school or doing his or her homework be on the street hawking, to the extent that this child is hit by a motorcycle. We have too many little children on the road hawking, this makes them exposed to all kinds of vices and danger.
