There was drama in a village in Kisii on Friday after a woman was caught pants down with her brother-in-law.
The incident is said to have occurred on Friday evening at Kianyakware village, Mwamosioma, Mosocho in Kisii County.
The woman’s husband, Zachary Nyangaresi, said he returned home from work at around 7pm only to find his wife Christine Kerubo in bed with his brother Victor Okioyi.
"I returned home from work and found the lights had been switched off. I switched them on and I was shocked to find my wife and my young brother naked having sex in my bedroom,” said Nyangaresi.
Nyangaresi said his brother got up and ran, leaving behind his coat, trousers and slippers.
Confirming the incident, area chief Thomas Manoti said they had to intervene in the matter as Nyangaresi battered his wife, threatening to kill her.
“Nyangeresi married his wife two years ago and they have not been blessed with a child. He found her engaging in sex with his brother who escaped leaving the woman alone. I rescued the woman from the jaws of death since Nyangaresi wanted to chop off her head,” he said.
The chief warned married couples against engaging in illicit affairs, to avoid such acts of violence.
The woman was later sent away to her parent’s home in Bogeka village.
