Wife of Lagos State Governor Mrs Bolanle Ambode has promised to construct a toilet at the Ndubisi Kanu Park, Alausa, Ikeja.
She made the pledge at the Christmas and Family fun fare hosted by Ourcraft Venture in collaboration with the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK).
Mrs Ambode enjoined children to imbibe the spirit of Christmas by showing kindness.
She cautioned that the season should be celebrated with every sense of responsibility and decency.
“Much as we love our jobs and businesses as hard working people, it is equally important that we cultivate the habit of relaxation for healthy living. By this, we live healthy and longer, to enjoy the money we make. The greatest happiness is family happiness,” she said.
LASPARK Managing Director Dr Titi Anibaba thanked Mrs Ambode for identifing with the children, saying the gesture will lift the spirit of the children and give them a sense of belonging and made them feel important.
