236 arrested at RCCG camp in police raid


Men of the Ogun State Police Command in conjunction with security units of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have conducted a raid on the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway during which 236 people were arrested.

Bayelsa teachers protest against half-pay

Some teachers in Bayelsa State on Friday protested against the decision of Governor Seriake Dickson to pay them half of May salaries out of five months they were owed.

The aggrieved teachers had gathered at the Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Memorial Centre in Yenagoa to receive their salaries earlier promised them by the governor.
