Police nab online male prostitutes


Indonesian police said Thursday they have arrested three suspects in connection with an online prostitution ring that allegedly linked adult men to about 100 mostly teenage boys.

Officers caught the first suspect, a man in his 40s accused of pimping out boys on his Facebook page, on Tuesday in a hotel room in Cisarua on Java island.

An 18-year-old boy, Segun Adeyefa, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly packaging bars of soap as mobile phones and selling same to unsupecting members of the public.

Adeyefa was reportedly caught in the act on Tuesday by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad at the Ikorodu Motor Park.
