Your child’s poor performance at school may be caused by snoring – Study


Researchers have found that snoring can adversely affect children’s thinking abilities.

According to data presented at the American Thoracic Society Conference, while periodic snoring is usual in children, persistent snoring can lead to a disorder called sleep apnea that affects the quality of sleep, which in turn, can be linked with concentration and learning difficulties.

A human trafficking victim, Love John, says she slept with more than 400 men in less than five months in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State.

Love, 22, and her 23-year-old sister, Happiness, were lured into prostitution sometime in January by their eldest sister, Mary.

A 28-year-old man, Adamu Mai Bisco, has killed his parents and two sisters in the Potiskum area of Yobe State.

It was gathered that the four victims were murdered in their sleep with a shovel by the suspect.

12 die after drinking bootleg alcohol


Twelve men have died after drinking bootleg liquor, Indonesian police said Tuesday.

The victims died in Bantul district in the main island of Java in recent days, said local police spokeswoman Anny Pudjiastuti.
