Woman arraigned for using children as beggars

 

 For allegedly using her children as beggars, Ayo Okegbero, 36, on Wednesday appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Okegbero, an unemployed woman, who resides in Ojota, Lagos, is being tried for breach of the peace.

The police in Lagos State have arrested a woman who sold suspected adulterated liquor in the Oko Afo, Badagry area of the state, in connection with the death of a 16-year-old boy, identified only as Ngozi.

The police in Lagos have arrested 24-year-old Babalola Rotimi (Jnr), who allegedly killed his father, Babalola Rotimi (Snr) in the Magodo, Shangisha area of Lagos State.

Court admits two robbery suspects to N2m bail

 
 
Justice Abubakar Talba of a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Gudu, on Thursday admitted Sani Magaji and Mohammed Aliyu, charged with possession of firearms and robbery, to N1m bail each.

Ruling on their bail application, Talba ordered that the defendants must produce two sureties each in like sum.
