Police kill suspect in failed bank robbery


The police in Bayelsa State have killed one suspected robber in a failed attempt by a five-man gang to rob a branch of the Stanbic IBTC Bank in Yenagoa, the state capital.

An alleged cultist, popularly called Kunle Poly, has been confirmed dead by doctors at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital after he was beaten to a pulp by a mob in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
