A 26-year-old man, Giwa Taiwo, who allegedly threatened the life of his neighbour, Mr Emma Adebowale, was yesterday in an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.
The accused, whose address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, breach of peace and threat to life.
The prosecutor, Inspector Eshiet Eshiet, told the court that the accused conspired with others at large, and threatened to kill Adebowale.
The accused pleaded not guilty.
The Magistrate, Mrs S. K. Metapo, granted him N50,000 bail with two sureties in like sum, and ordered that the sureties must be gainfully employed and show evidence of tax payments.
