Reports reaching us says that a petrol tanker fell over and exploded along Benin-Ore Road, some 28 kilometers away from Ore.
According to the Head, Media and Strategy of Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Bisi Kaseem, one person was injured and three others were burnt beyond recognition.
The unidentified driver of the tanker was said to be driving dangerously and at a very high speed as against the stipulated speed limit.
Officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps, the police and some sympathisers at the scene of the incident were seen trying to take the remains of the deceased persons to the mortuary as of the time of filing this report.
