A Nigerian man, Oba Don, has taken to the Facebook to deny the paternity of a baby born by his South African girlfriend, identified as Diketso Katlego on the paternity test he posted online.
In his Facebook post that had gone viral, the man alleged that he had spent a fortune taking care of his then pregnant girlfriend, only to discover six months later that he isn’t the father of the newborn.
He said the lady was a student in Rose Bank College, and that apart from the stupendous amount he had spent on her while the pregnancy lasted, he also spent a handsome amount of money procuring call cards and Uber rides for her.
As if to underscore his disillusionment with the situation, Don Oba made two posts about the matter, warning men to be wary of women they have sexual relationships with.
He claimed to have spent 75,000 Rands (about N2.5m) on the lady during the pregnancy and childbirth.
The man, who claimed to live in Sandton, South Africa, said some women follow men and try to trap them with pregnancy because they want money.
“Please make sure a DNA test is carried out after the birth of the child oh, before taking or accepting responsibility of the alleged child oh,” he wrote on one of the posts.
Claiming that he had all the records of the money spent on the girl, he threatened to make her family repay him.
