A pregnant 14-year-old girl has claimed that her stepbrother and her dad had been having sex with her in turns, adding that the stepbrother initiated her into sex, being the person that deflowered her.

Consequently, the Police in Delta State have begun a manhunt for her dad, one Mr. Lucky Akuna, also known as Orutebe, for allegedly impregnating his 14-year-old daughter in Ugboroke, Uvwie Local Government Area.

Orutebe, believed to be in his mid 40s, had reportedly fled his home in company of his son who is alleged to have deflowered the teenage girl (name withheld).

It was learnt that, Orutebe, who hails from Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, has two wives, but was also alleged to have impregnated his niece in the past.

Trouble started when neighbours began noticing pregnancy signs on the teenage girl and, upon interrogation, she reportedly confessed that her father had been having sexual intercourse her.

A neighbour who spoke on the incident on Thursday said, “This is not the first time he (Orutebe) is indulging in such act, as he also impregnated his niece on two separate occasions.

“The girl confessed to neighbours when she was interrogated. The little girl didn’t even know she was pregnant until she started noticing the stomach growing big.

“The girl, upon further interrogation, also revealed that apart from her father, her elder brother from another mother who is also on the run, deflowered her and had also been sleeping with her.”

A community source told our correspondent that Ugboroke community leadership where the suspect resides, irked by the development, summoned him and was sanctioned for incest.

The source added that he was also reportedly stripped half naked and booed by residents for the incestuous act.

A senior police officer at the Warri Area Command confirmed the development, saying that police are still searching for the suspects who are currently on the run.

When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka, said no such case was reported to the state police command.

He added that the only case reported at the Ogberikoko Police Station was that of a 19-year-old lady who had undergone abortion under the care of a quack medical personnel.
