A woman has gone into hiding after she was busted in the act with a minor she had reportedly lured into her house.
The incident happened on Monday in Magombo, Nyamira County.
Confirming the incident, area assistant chief Moses Nyakina said the woman, Milka Omweri, lured the class 7 boy to her house where she asked him to do sex.
“Mrs. Omweri was caught in the act with the boy’s mother who had gone to buy Sukuma wiki from the homestead.
"The woman escaped through the window when an alarm was raised and disappeared into the neighboring maize plantation,” he noted.
The administrator warned that he will not hesitate to take action against women engaging in sex with minors.
“Women have ventured into illicit sex with small boys who are easily convinced.
"Women must stop forcing minors into sex because whoever who will be found will be arrested and be charged in court for raping minors,” he stated.
He said such cases will not be condoned in the village and neighborhood.
"Adults should stop engaging in sex with minors. I will be on high alert to ensure offenders are arrested and taken to court," he assured.
