A 21-year-old rapist, Jordan Smith, has been jailed for 13 years after holding his victim captive for three days.
He was said to have threatened to shoot the father of the university student if she made a sound to alert the father.
Smith told police that they had had consensual sex and denied holding her against her will.
However, the victim said Smith punched her repeatedly on the head, stomach, hips and thighs while he also said he would stab or shoot her.
The jury found him guilty of two counts of rape, one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, false imprisonment and assault by penetration.
The victim’s father had come to the house in Chingford, East London, looking for her daughter when Smith threatened her if she made a sound.
He returned the next day and the victim broke down, telling him what had happened.
According to Metro UK, Judge David Radford told Smith, “Smith, of Chingford, was jailed for a total of 12 years for two counts of rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault by penetration and false imprisonment.
“He must also serve 12 months consecutive for breaching a previous suspended sentence and was slapped with an indefinite restraining order barring any contact with his victim or her family.”
