A bank customer, Raymond Agada, has been shot dead by robbers at Swali market area, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Agada was said to be heading for a commercial bank in Yenagoa when the hoodlums attacked him.
A source, who preferred anonymity, said the victim’s sister, a trader, told him to pay the money into her creditor’s account.
“The late Agada ran similar errands for his sister. He did it on a daily basis. His sister receives goods on credit from her customers and after selling, pays the money into their accounts, most time through him.
“The robbers had monitored the transactional process for some time. It’s a pity.”

He said the police moved to the scene and took the victim to hospital where he died.
Butswat said the police had identified the culprits and were making efforts to arrest them.
He said: “On January 3, about 1100hrs, four men, armed with pistols, attacked Raymond Agada, male, 20 years, of Swali community and dispossessed him of N120,000 he wanted to deposit in a bank. They shot him.
“Policemen were sent to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital, where he later died.
