THE Nigerian Navy on Tuesday paraded five suspected members of the Niger Delta Avengers alleged to have been responsible for last Saturday’s multiple attacks on pipelines belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
It stated that five vessels, five barges and 72 Cotonou boats used for illegal oil bunkering were also apprehended by its operatives.
The Flag Officer Commanding, Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Mohammed Garba, who paraded the suspects on Tuesday at the Naval Base, Warri, warned that the Navy would stop at nothing until the militants were flushed out of the region.
