Man exchanges blows with father after meeting in lodging - Shepherd Digest Magazine

There was drama in Nyamira town on Wednesday after a man met came head-on with his son along with a lover in a lodging.

William Riang’a, the lodging attendant said the man, Amos Motari had booked a room and was waiting for a woman when Motari’s son, Edgar, arrived at the lodging with another woman.

“Motari was seated at the reception waiting the woman he had called when his son arrived also with a woman.

"The angry Motari attacked his son with kicks and blows in the presence of the woman claiming that he expected his son to be in school,” said Riang’a.

Riang’a said Motari’s son is a second year Education student at Kisii University.

He said it took intervention of traders to stop the man from beating his son.

Area Nyumba Kumi official Fred Nyaronge confirmed the incident and said both were forced to vacate the facility.

“It is a shameful incident which we have never witnessed but the man could have controlled his tamper because he was also planning to sleep with a woman at the same lodging. Men should remain faithful in marriage,” he noted.
