Residents of Kipkaren estate on the outskirts of Eldoret town are yet to come to terms with the incident in which they busted a Catholic Catechist allegedly engaging a goat in a sexual act at the bushy roadside on Wednesday.
According to Mary Njeri an eyewitness, she was informed by a schoolboy who was going home for lunch that somebody unknown was suspiciously looking after the goats.
Njeri said she sensed something was wrong but reluctantly rushed to check out only to find somebody tightly on top of the goat with his trousers down.
She immediately alerted her neighbours who came out in large numbers only to realize it was Catechist identified as John Owino who had done the unnatural act.
"A boy rushed into my house and informed me that someone was suspiciously looking after the goats. For a while, I hesitated to go check out but not until some feelings informed me that something might be wrong," narrated Njeri who is also the owner of the goat.
A section of the charged crowd managed to get hold of the catechist, beating him mercilessly before he managed to escape miraculously.
"It is shameful for John to do that. I saw him but I can't believe. Satan is real," said Amos Wasike who claimed to know the Catechist very well.
Local authorities have launched a manhunt for the 'man of God' who has since gone into hiding.
