A middle-aged man on Wednesday was found wrapped in a sack and dumped at Kinyambu in Kibwezi, Makueni county.
According to Kibwezi police boss Ben Chagulo, the man is said to have gone missing from his home in Kola Machakos county since Tuesday.
The police boss said that the man was kidnapped by unknown men as he was grazing cattle in his home. The perpetrators
are said to have later dumped him in Kitui.
Chagulo said the man was found by passers-by and they alerted the police about it.
"On Tuesday members of the public noticed a man wrapped in a sack in Kinyambu where they raised alarm", said Chagulo.
He confirmed that the man was in shock and was taken to hospital for treatment. He was unhurt though.
The man is currently admitted at Kibwezi hospital where he's receiving medication.
" The man is undergoing treatment after which he will record a statement with the police concerning his kidnapping," added the police boss.
The incident left Kinyambu residents shocked.
No one has been arrested concerning the issue.
